Data on climate monitoring and climate projection is computed and maintained by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), a sectoral department under the Ministry of Population and Environment (MoPE).

DHM maintains a comprehensive database of historical hydrological and meteorological datasets for Nepal collected at 51 hydrological and 282 meteorological stations across the country. Historical datasets can be requested directly from DHM (see http://www.dhm.gov.np/requestfordata/).

DHM also maintains a Climate Change Project Portal which provides access to climate projects for stations across Nepal. The portal can be accessed at: http://www.dhm.gov.np/dpc/
