The climate change program management information system (CCP-MIS) is a web-based database application system hosted by the Ministry of Population and Environment (MoPE). The CCP-MIS provides access to information relating to MoPE’s climate change adaptation project portfolio – the Climate Change Program (CCP).
MoPE’s CCP is comprised of eight projects. Under Nepal's Strategic Program for Climate Resilience (SPCR), there are 5 PPCR component programs being funded the by Climate Investment Fund (CIF) (see http://ppcr.moste.gov.np/ for more information). In addition there are 3 "non-PPCR" programs funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) and the European Union (EU). The CCP-MIS has been designed and developed under the PPCR project titled Mainstreaming Climate Change Risk Management in Development (PPCR 3).
The CCP-MIS has three main components - Data Management, Knowledge Management, and Results Management.
